{"id":3783,"date":"2024-10-24T06:05:01","date_gmt":"2024-10-24T06:05:01","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/apex-aiexperts.com\/?p=3783"},"modified":"2024-10-24T06:05:01","modified_gmt":"2024-10-24T06:05:01","slug":"how-to-use-rectangle-chart-patterns-to-trade-breakouts","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/apex-aiexperts.com\/es\/how-to-use-rectangle-chart-patterns-to-trade-breakouts\/","title":{"rendered":"C\u00f3mo utilizar patrones de gr\u00e1ficos rectangulares para negociar rupturas"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A&nbsp;<strong>rectangle<\/strong>&nbsp;is a chart pattern formed when the price is bounded by parallel support and resistance levels.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A rectangle exhibits a period of&nbsp;<strong>consolidation<\/strong>&nbsp;o&nbsp;<strong>indecision<\/strong>&nbsp;between buyers and sellers as they take turns throwing punches but neither has dominated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The price will \u201ctest\u201d the support and resistance levels several times before eventually breaking out.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>From there, the price could trend in the direction of the breakout, whether it is to the upside or downside.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image aligncenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/bpcdn.co\/images\/2016\/05\/grade7-rectangle.png\" alt=\"Rectangle with support and resistance\" title=\"Rectangle with support and resistance\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>In the example above, we can clearly see that the pair was bounded by two key price levels which are parallel to one another.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We just have to wait until one of these levels breaks and go along for the ride!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Remember, when you spot a rectangle:&nbsp;<strong>THINK OUTSIDE THE BOX!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Bearish Rectangle<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>A&nbsp;<strong>bearish rectangle<\/strong>&nbsp;is formed when the price consolidates for a while during a downtrend.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This happens because sellers probably need to pause and catch their breath before taking the pair any lower.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image aligncenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/bpcdn.co\/images\/2016\/05\/grade7-bearish-rectangle-before.png\" alt=\"Bearish rectangle after a downtrend\" title=\"Bearish rectangle after a downtrend\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>In this example, price broke the bottom of the rectangle chart pattern and continued to shoot down.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If we had a short order just below the support level, we would have made a nice profit on this trade.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image aligncenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/bpcdn.co\/images\/2016\/05\/grade7-bearish-rectangle-after.png\" alt=\"Bearish rectangle pattern and breakdown\" title=\"Bearish rectangle pattern and breakdown\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Here\u2019s a tip:<\/strong>&nbsp;Once the pair falls below the support, it tends to make a move that is about the size of the rectangle pattern.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the example above, the pair moved beyond the target so there would have been a chance to catch more pips!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Bullish Rectangle<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Here\u2019s another example of a rectangle, this time, a&nbsp;<strong>bullish rectangle&nbsp;<\/strong>chart pattern.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>After an uptrend, the price paused to consolidate for a bit. Can you guess where the price is headed next?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image aligncenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/bpcdn.co\/images\/2016\/05\/grade7-bullish-rectangle-before.png\" alt=\"Bullish rectangle after an uptrend\" title=\"Bullish rectangle after an uptrend\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>If you answered up, then you\u2019re right!
