If you want to cross the street, do you simply just start walking across?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Only if you want to possibly get run over. Of course, you look both ways first to make sure it\u2019s \u201csafe\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This same approach is also practical with trading. You want to make sure it is \u201csafe\u201d to enter the market (i.e. a high probability trade setup).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>The entry technique will help keep you out of trades that aren\u2019t behaving the way you would expect in your potential trade area.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Let\u2019s pretend your potential trade area is where&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/tradecenterfx.com\/how-to-trade-divergences\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">bearish divergence<\/a>&nbsp;is present.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Do you just automatically short? Or do you wait for the price to trade near a significant resistance level first?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Maybe even wait for an exhaustion reversal&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/tradecenterfx.com\/learn-forex\/basic-japanese-candlestick-patterns\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">candlestick<\/a>&nbsp;like a shooting star to form?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Instead of waiting\u2026.you short now, and then watch the price climb higher and get stopped out.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Just because you find a good area to trade doesn\u2019t mean you should just jump right in.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>A good entry technique provides that solid confirmation to help keep you out of losing trades.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Again, make a screenshot of your chart and label where your entry trigger is.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Don\u2019t forget that you must&nbsp;<strong>combine a good entry trigger with a good potential trade area<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/tradecenterfx.com\/learn-forex\/how-to-use-moving-average-crossovers-to-enter-trades\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">cruce de medias m\u00f3viles<\/a>&nbsp;may be a popular entry technique but if you don\u2019t factor in the area in which you\u2019re thinking of entering, you will probably be whipsawed to death.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Using an entry trigger as a \u201cstand-alone\u201d technique is a recipe for disaster.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Make sure you\u2019re aware of your \u201csurroundings\u201d as well.
